Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG)
Australia Pacific LNG Pty Ltd ACN 001 646 331. APLNG has announced the APLNG Project to develop a Coal Seam Gas (CSG) to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export project in Queensland, based on CSG reserves. See the following link for more information from APLNG about the APLNG Project:

Authority to Prospect granted by the Queensland Government for hydrocarbons to explore for and test for production.

Coal Seam Gas is a form of natural gas that is trapped in coal seams. It is also known as Coal Seam Methane.

Identification of potential oil and gas resources. This often involves the drilling of exploration wells for information gathering purposes.

Gladstone LNG (GLNG)
GLNG is a venture between Santos and three of the world's largest energy companies, PETRONAS, Total and KOGAS to convert Coal Seam Gas (CSG) to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for export to global markets. See the following link for more information from GLNG about the GLNG Project:

Natural gas cooled to around – 162 degrees C, the boiling point of its main constituent (CH4), so that it becomes liquid. The process known as liquefaction, reduces its volume by a factor of 600, making it more convenient and less dangerous to store and transport. Natural gas is liquefied in a liquefaction plant, transported and stored chilled and under slight pressure, before being converted back into gas at a regasification plant.

A colourless, odourless flammable gas that is the main component of natural gas.

A joint interest that is not operated by Tri-Star.

Partially carbonized vegetable matter, usually mosses, used as fertilizer and fuel.

Petroleum Lease.

The quantity of petroleum produced in a certain period.

Production well
A well used to retrieve petroleum or gas from an underground reservoir.

A permit, claim, licence or lease that may be granted by a Mining Registrar, the responsible Minister, or by the Governor in Council.

The right to use and occupy property either under ownership or lease in order to explore or produce oil or gas.

Unconventional Gas
Natural gases which occur in less permeable sources. These include coal seam gas extracted from coal deposits, shale gas extracted from shale, and tight gas, which is extracted from layers of low-permeability rock.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil is a high gravity, low sulphur oil.
